Suited Assessment
Also called Suited test, Suited banking assessment
A trait-based online assessment used by several investment banks to screen candidates before any interview.
Suited is a third-party assessment some banks put in front of interviews. Moelis describes it for US and UK candidates as measuring over fifty traits and characteristics predictive of success in investment banking. PJT Partners publishes its own note about the same assessment as part of a four-stage process.
It is not a technical test. There is no accounting, no valuation and no brain teaser. It is scored outside the interview, and it is not a conversation, which is why nobody can tell you the right answers.
What it means for you
You cannot prepare for it the way you prepare for a technical round, and the hours you would spend trying are the hours better spent on the rounds that follow it. There is no question bank to grind.
The trap is treating it as the hard part. It is a filter that happens before anyone speaks to you. The stage that actually decides the offer is the first-round conversation with bankers, where you have to walk your resume and say why banking out loud, under follow-up.
Answer it as yourself. A trait assessment scored across fifty dimensions is built to catch people performing a personality they think the firm wants, and inconsistency across items is exactly what it measures.
Larpy does not simulate the Suited Assessment, and no honest tool can. What we do simulate is the round after it.

Larpy runs a live mock interview that asks follow-ups, then scores what you said and how you said it. Interviews are free, no card.
